Growing up in a family owned racing workshop in Singapore, Ivan has been a car enthusiast all his life. Instead of pursuing a career in Civil-Engineering after completing his university education, Ivan decided to follow his heart and chose to start a career in something he really enjoyed doing.  Hi-Power Racing was started by Ivan in 2002. Being involved in racing teams overseas and locally allows Ivan insight on how a race team should be run.

His family’s years of involvement in motorsport allowed Ivan valuable access and contact with workshops overseas that would otherwise be impossible. Developing the racing cars with companies like JUN Auto, and JIC in Japan sharing valuable engineering knowhow has made these vehicles more superior to other race cars.

Born from Laotian descend. John started his life helping his dad on their banana farm in Innesvale north Queensland.  John found his love of cars in his early years. Starting his career in as a motor mechanic and pursuing his love in the trade john has worked in countless tuning shops including Millennium Motorsports and 101 motorcafe.
Having worked as a tuner and mechanic for over 10 years john has a wide range of knowledge when It comes to both V8 and import cars. John has been involved in many well known cars including the building of Millennium Motorsport’s 1000hp Supra, Jerome kennedy’s 630hp S14 silvia.
Being both an excellent tuner, a fabricator john is a priceless asset in this team. He brings in both professionalism and also his on personal flair of humors. His influence and respect he brings to the team is irreplaceable.

Terry Oxtoby aka "Terry binda"
Qualified Mechanic/Tuner/Fabricator

Being the newest addition to the team Terry brings in a new chapter in the team. Doing and finishing his apprenticeship in British Auto Car, Terry has obtained valuable experience dealing with European and British cars.

While working in SMP performance Terry has self-taught himself the art of tic-welding, and also allowed him to understand the mechanics of import racing .From BMX riding, street drifting and riding a Hayabusa Terry is no stranger to speed and is an avid weekend street drifter competing in many local drift and race events.

Daniel Thao aka "Genghis"
Apprentice mechanic

Having a great passion for race cars and drifting. Daniel has decided to pursue his career as a motor mechanic. His keen appetite to learn new things has enabled Daniel to pick up things really quick and being the youngest in the team. Daniel definitely brings a new zest into the team.
